In one month you'll no longer be a baby, Miss Annabelle.
Although I'm pretty sure you don't think of yourself that way anymore.
You have a very independent personality, little girl.
You like to read your books by yourself now.
If we try to hold it for you, it's not long before you snatch the book out of our hands and promptly place it in your own lap, then commence flipping randomly through pages, pointing to the pictures, and babbling the story out loud to yourself.
You've also found the joy of standing up, but aren't quite ready to do it without a little assistance yet. However, you'll find your way around a room pretty quickly by holding onto furniture, walls, toys, whatever you can use to stabilize yourself. You love to use the walker Grandma got you, except you're not sure how to turn the thing around.

You also LOVE taking things out of the kitchen drawers!
You will pull almost every piece of tubberware out of the drawer and throw it to the side, like trash, while digging in the drawer with your other hand to find another piece to throw out. You also love to chew on the rubber handles of the pots and pans.
I'll have to try and post the video, but we found you the other day with your hands on top of two metal bowls, turned upside down, scooting them across the floor while you crawled.
It. was.very.loud.
Annie, you love to bob up and down to the music from your toys.
It's one of the funniest things to witness, especially when you do it while standing in the bathtub, naked. You have certain songs on each of your toys that really get you moving and you'll keep pushing buttons, rushing through all the other songs to get to the one tune that you love.
You've also started nodding your head no.
I'm sure you learned this from all the "no"s we've had to say to you lately as you've been getting into EVERYTHING. So, it's hard not to laugh when we now tell you no and you look at us with a huge smile and nod your own head back and forth.
Annabelle, we think you've finally grasped the concept of waving.
You now like to wave to everyone. We were in the post office earlier today and you kept waving to the sweet lady behind me in line, and the kids on the other side of the room. This morning when I dropped you off at daycare and walked outside the glass door, I turned around to see you smiling at me and waving bye bye. You also like to wave to our cats when they catch your eye. I wish they could wave back at you!
We can't wait to enjoy another month of you baby girl!
Love,
Mommy & Daddy
